BENTLEY MILLER LIGHTS INC. was founded in 1993 - as a lighting design/consulting company to service the entertainment industry. The primary focus of the company is the design and execution of lighting for television and film productions. We are also actively involved in systems design for television and film studios.
As a full service lighting design, company we can provide all of the specialized services required to realize any type of production from single camera drama to multi camera large-scale productions. We will work with you in the design phase of the project to help you coalesce your ideas. During the installation we will work with the other related production disciplines to bring your vision to fruition. Upon completion of the facility if required we can train your personnel.

Production Associates
Through our associate companies, The Winter Group, Irish Boyz Productions and White Canvas Productions we have a wealth of experience that spans the disciplines of rigging, grip and lighting and production management.

Production Management
Our production management team can take projects from the concept stage through to delivery of the completed project. We recently provided this service for Worldvision:Tony Campolo Speaks. We arranged the crew for this multi-camera shoot. We booked the equipment, provided production insurance, and arranged the catering services for the production.

BENTLEY MILLER was contracted as Director of Photography. Bentley worked closely with the director determining recording format, lens choice, camera control, camera placement and effective use of a camera jib.

Design/Build
RTR Media –most recently RTR Media contracted Bentley Miller Lights Inc. to work with Production Design team II by IV Design Inc. BML wrote the specifications and assisted in the choice of the sub-contractors for the lighting grid, the electrical system and the production goods to outfit the studio that would house SEXY GIRL, a 26 part makeover series for the LIFE Network. Bentley Miller acted as Director of Photography for the series. This involved camera selection, lens choice, the colour scheme for the various sets and setting the tonal values, essentially creating the "look" of the show.
